Building a new gaming rig, would like to get some feedback on it and idea's to improve it.

Starting with the Case -

Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 Tower
Raidmax 1000w psu
Hitachi 500gb 7200rpm x2 in a Raid0
GearHead 24xDVD Triple format Sata

MOBO -
EVGA LGA-1366 SLI 3
Intel Core i7-950 LGA1366 Quad Core
Corrsair Hydro H70 High Performance CPU Cooler
G.Skill 6gb 3x2gb DDR 1600 (PC3 12800) x2 total of 12GB
EVGA GTX 465 Superclocked

This is the System I have spec'd out. I got all but the MOBO, CPU, RAM and PSU.

First i would go with the New Sandy Bridge arch. i7. Link below has video with it from newegg tv.
Intel Core i7-2600

Also with the ASUS p8p67 mobo saves you money and offers better perfomance overall than the evga (vid included also).
ASUS LGA-1155 SLI 3

other than that i would just go with everything else that you have. Just one question though, why did you go with the GTX 465 vs the GTX 460. Everything i have read says that the 460 performs better overall (wattage use, heat, and architecture) than the 465. Just curios.
Happy building!

The only disadvantage to the P8P67 is that it is only dual channel DDR3 where the LGA 1366 is triple channel DDR3. Other than that I agree.
