The flamewar between these two franchises has been heating up like no other franchise war in the past…except for maybe Sonic and Mario. But still, a new report has surfaced from analysts suggesting that the pre-order figures for Battlefield 3 are roughly comparable to Call of Duty: Black Ops.
That’s not bad for Battlefield 3 to lack the clout of the Call of Duty brand name, but I’m sure fanboys will use this info one way or another to justify how one is better than the other. The only thing that separates their quality is the time invested into both projects and the technology fueling them. I don’t think I need to say which one has the lead here, especially considering that Infinity Ward only let glitch-testers have at the game for a week. At least we know the quality assurance will be better than Modern Warfare 2.
